We’re looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Professional 1, HR Technology & Operations to join our team. In this role, you’ll support the execution and continuous improvement of HR systems and operational processes, helping deliver a seamless employee experience across the full employee lifecycle.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR technology, data, and shared services operations—while partnering with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to drive meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Systems & Technology
Support day-to-day administration of HR systems (e.g., Workday), including data updates and basic configuration changes
Assist with system testing, upgrades, and enhancements
Provide first-level support for HR system inquiries, escalating complex issues as needed
Maintain system documentation, user guides, and process materials
Support HRIS reporting and assist with generating standard and ad hoc reports
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Support
Support onboarding, offboarding, and contractor administration processes
Assist with HR transactions and ensure timely, accurate processing
Help maintain employee data and ensure data integrity across HR systems
Partner with Payroll and HR teams to support data and reporting needs
Shared Services & Employee Support
Support HR shared services delivery through inbox and ticketing systems
Respond to employee inquiries related to HR programs, policies, and processes
Assist with employment verifications, documentation requests, and general HR inquiries
Deliver high-quality customer service and escalate complex issues when needed
Compliance, Audit & Data Accuracy
Support HR audits and track follow-up actions
Ensure compliance with data privacy and security requirements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records in accordance with company requirements
Process Improvement & Projects
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline HR processes
Participate in HR technology and operations projects
Support the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives
What Does Success Look Like? (12–18 Months)
Within your first 12–18 months, a successful Professional 1, HR Technology & Operations will have demonstrated ownership across systems, operations, and service delivery. Here’s what great looks like in this role:
HRIS Data Accuracy:
Consistently maintains near-zero error rates on HR data entries and audits; proactively catches and resolves data discrepancies before they impact downstream processes.
System & Reporting Proficiency:
Operates HRIS (e.g., Workday) with confidence; independently generates standard reports and builds ad hoc analyses to answer HR and business questions without requiring guidance.
Shared Services Delivery:
Resolves the majority of employee inquiries and service requests independently and on time; has earned a reputation as a reliable, responsive resource within the HR shared services team.
Process Improvement:
Has identified and contributed to at least three meaningful process improvement—whether a streamlined workflow, an improved data entry process, or a new report that saves the team time.
Cross-Functional Partnership:
Has built trusted working relationships with HR, Payroll, and IT partners; actively supports cross-functional initiatives and is seen as a collaborative, solutions-oriented team member.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or related field
0–2 years of experience in HR operations, HRIS, or a related role
Basic understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle workflows
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups)
Exposure to shared services or ticket-based support models

PAY RANGE
The targeted full-time base salary for this position is $49,700 to $74,500 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
