HIRING POSITION: PRODUCTIONS MANAGER

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Production Palm Manager to oversee the production and operation processes at our edible oil and biodiesel facility. The ideal candidate will focus on optimizing production efficiency, controlling losses, and improving yield. This role requires a deep understanding of palm oil processing, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to sustainable practices.

Responsibilities :

Production Management:

• Oversee daily operations of palm oil and biodiesel production.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet output targets.
• Ensure all production activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Operations Oversight:

• Monitor and optimize the performance of all production equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for production processes.

Loss Control:

• Identify and analyze production losses and develop strategies to minimize them.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Implement corrective actions to address inefficiencies and reduce waste.

Yield Improvement:

• Monitor yield data and implement measures to improve extraction rates and overall product yield.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to test and implement new technologies and methods.
• Provide training and support to staff to enhance their skills and productivity.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate production records and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
• Use data analysis to drive decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Present findings and recommendations to enhance production efficiency and profitability.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance evaluations and identify opportunities for staff development and training.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a production management role within the edible oil or biodiesel industry.
• Strong knowledge of palm oil processing and production techniques.
• Proven track record of improving production efficiency and yield.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
