About the Role

We’re looking for energetic, reliable and physically fit individuals to join our egg packing team at our Buchanan farm.

This is a hands-on and physically demanding role where you’ll play an important part in ensuring our eggs are packed correctly and ready to reach customers across Australia.

You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, teamwork and a strong work ethic are essential.

What You’ll Do

• Efficiently pack eggs while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Ensure packaging is accurate and best-before dates are correctly applied.
• Perform repetitive packing, bending and lifting tasks throughout the shift.
• Clean up spills and maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
• Report product or process issues to the Grading Supervisor.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality Assurance and HACCP procedures.
• Follow all workplace health and safety policies and company procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure production targets are met.

Location: Buchanan, NSW – approximately 40 minutes from Newcastle and 10 minutes from Kurri Kurri.

Salary: From $33.11 per hour + penalty rates

Shift Times: 7:15am – 3pm Monday – Saturday

About You

We’re looking for people who are reliable, energetic and comfortable working in a physically demanding, repetitive environment.

You’ll bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to be part of a team. You’ll take pride in doing your job well and understand the important role you play in ensuring our fresh eggs reach supermarkets and customers.

Requirements

• Ability to undertake repetitive physical work, including bending and lifting.
• Enclosed shoes or boots are required.
• Hair net must be worn, with a beard net required where applicable.
• Ability to follow OH&S policies, company procedures and food safety requirements.
• A pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, is required before commencing.
