Compensation: $26.69/ hr
As a Packaging Operator, you will operate packaging equipment and perform production tasks with increased independence and efficiency. You will ensure product quality, support troubleshooting efforts, and maintain compliance with safety and food safety standards. This role builds on foundational skills and contributes to consistent production performance.
What You Will Do
• Operate processing and packaging equipment to support chocolate production.
• Verify product quality and complete required production and sanitation documentation.
• Adjust equipment settings to maintain product specifications and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate more complex problems.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas in compliance with food safety standards.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Understand and communicate efficiently in English (verbal/written).
• Perform basic math and follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, at heights (4 feet and above) and in confined spaces, performing physical tasks including frequently lifting 25lb,occasionally lifting up to 50lbs, climbing, bending, and twisting, while wearing required PPE in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 110°F with or without a reasonable accommodation.
What Will Put You Ahead
• Basic computer skills.
• Prior production work experience.
• Experience using a forklift or similar equipment.
