Sizemore, Inc. is looking for second shift welders in Edgefield, SC!

Previous welding experience is required.

True temp-to-perm opportunity at 90 days!

Starting Pay Rate:$17-$17.50 per hour

Schedule: 2nd shift (3p-1a) *shift will likely train on 1st shift (5a-3p) before moving to 2nd shift (3p-1a)*

Sizemore is seeking a reliable and skilled Production Welder to join our client's production team. In this role, you will weld plates to headers, assemble radiators in fixtures, and ensure product quality with a leak rate of 10% or below. This position is hands‑on and essential to maintaining the high manufacturing standards of our radiator products.

Essential Job Tasks:

• Load fixtures – Required for correct setup and welding.
• Weld radiators – Essential for maintaining acceptable leak rates.
• Clean radiators – Ensures finished products are free of weld splatter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Use required PPE and comply with all safety procedures; report unsafe conditions and attend scheduled safety training.
• Follow quality procedures, drawings, and work instructions; complete required tests, inspections, and documentation accurately and on time.
• Comply with environmental procedures, including proper chemical handling and understanding MSDS documentation.
• Start up and shut down welding machines and fixtures; understand breaker and power switch locations.
• Read and interpret work forms using strong reading and math skills.
• Assemble radiators in fixtures and weld according to assignment.
• Operate hoists to remove completed radiators safely.
• Inspect radiators for nonconformance following approved criteria.
• Complete production and quality documents with accuracy and clear penmanship.

Physical & Work Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, and bending
• Lifting and carrying between 10–100 lbs, depending on task.
• Use of hoists for heavier loads.
• Strong hand‑eye coordination, manual dexterity, basic math, and reasoning skills.
