Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Test and troubleshoot microprocessor-based products to component level with minimal guidance.
2. Provide technical support to engineering and manufacturing.
3. Provide troubleshooting training to junior department personnel.
4. Develop and maintain knowledge of SEL products and processes to ensure product quality and integrity.
5. Implement department objectives under direction of immediate supervisor.
6. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
7. Understand. Create. Simplify.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Two-year degree in Industrial Electronic Technology or equivalent work experience

2-5 years experience in electronic design, manufacturing, or testing

Knowledge of analog and digital electronics

Proficient technical writing, documentation, and presentation skills

Strong analytical, judgment, and organizational skill

Good technical training and presentation skills

Strong knowledge of computer applications such as Word, Excel, Access

Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Background check results satisfactory to SEL

Negative drug test result(s)

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of structured programming

Advanced computer program skills: Word, Excel, Access

Experience leading process improvement initiatives
