SASAL, Automóveis, Lda, is a company of the Forvia Group, leader in the development and production of high-quality automotive components, dedicated to the cutting and sewing of covers for car seats.

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

• Observe and understand the improvement tools used in the factory;
• Support the implementation of organizational methods and improvements in work processes;
• Understand the factory’s production processes and contribute to the optimization of procedures;
• Identify possible improvements in work methods, organization, and production flow;
• Apply continuous improvement concepts to increase efficiency and quality.

The internship will last 6 months. It will be an internship through IEFP.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Management Engineering or similar;
• Good knowledge of English (spoken and written) and basic computer skills (especially Excel);
• Interest in the industrial field and production processes;
• Motivation to learn and develop new skills;
• Observation and analytical skills to identify improvement opportunities;
• Sense of responsibility, organization, and ability to meet deadlines/tasks;
• Ability to work in a team and good communication with colleagues;
• Proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to improving factory processes.
