To strengthen our Manufacturing Team at STA Technologies, we are looking for a

Production Technician

ROLE

Assist in development, scale-up and production of powders and other Security based products. Conduct operational assignments and procedures for powder and tag production. Work under general supervision and guidance. Some shift work required.

• Operating, maintaining, cleaning and troubleshooting of proprietary production equipment.
• Recipe formulation, powder production and thermal post processing for a variety of powders materials/products.
• Wet chemistry-based synthesis of unique taggant materials.
• Consistent quality for long run material campaigns.
• Flexibility to shift between high volume manufacturing mind-set and one-off research & development (R&D) sample generation.
• Equipment maintenance and high operating efficiency while ensuring highest quality, safety, and security standards are observed.
• Assist in planning, synthesis, processing, and testing of products.

• Problem Solving: Active participation and involvement in problem/solution activities.
• Attention to Detail: Follows detailed procedures and ensures accuracy in documentation and data; carefully monitors gages, instruments of process; ensures concentration on routine work details.

• Assoc. degree in a technical discipline preferred; or High School graduate with 2-4 years’ work experience.
• Strong motivation to learn and expand expertise.
• Ability to obtain Secret level clearance preferred.
