Overseesafeandeffectiveaudio,lightingdesign, video production and riggingforshowroom events,concerts,andconventionsatHarrah’sCherokee Event Center and Convention Center. Manage and maintain equipment inventory. Interface with internal departments, artist representatives and clients in all event spaces to execute events.
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES—LEVEL 1:

WorkinconjunctionwithEntertainmentManager,ProductionManager, ProductionTechnicians and AV Technicians
Crosstraininaudio,lighting,andvideosystemstoensureproperskillsetsareobtainedtooperateallaspectsoftheatricalequipmentinthe Event Center and Convention Center
Oversee properaudio, lighting and/or video forallevents
Communicateandworkwithartist/conventionrepresentativespriortoandduringeventstoensuredesired requirementsaremet
Maintainandfacilitatetherepairoftheatreaudio, video,andlightingequipmenttoensureallequipmentisalways in working order
Manage inventory
Supervise load ins/load outs and givecleardirectionandsupporttostagehandsandotheremployeesassistinginthesetupandexecutionofevents
Administer London architect/BSS, sACN lighting/network, d&b R1 line array software
Maintain distributed audio and video systems
Integrate touring audio and video with existing house audio and video networks
Coordinate and assign radio frequencies for wireless microphones and FM transmitters for assisted listening devices
Adhering to all safety practices and maintaining a safe workplace
Participativememberoftheteambyvolunteeringandbeinginvolvedinprojectsandcommitteesby providing inputandsuggestions
Managespecialprojectsincludingtheabilitytospecifyaudioandlightingneedsforexistingandexpansionprojects
Otherdutiesasrequiredtodeliverexcellentservicetointernalandexternalcustomers
Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES—LEVEL 2:
Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Level 1 duties
Create lighting, audio and rigging plots in AutoCAD design software
Successful rating on last performance appraisal
Successfully pass a proficiency test on Level 1 responsibilities with a score of 90 or above
Have more than (7) attendance points
Seek coaching from supervisors to improve performance
Ability to perform special tasks as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED required
SpecializeddegreeorcertificateinTheatricalLightingorAudioEngineeringpreferred
Five years demonstrated experience in stage lighting or sound reinforcement required
Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:
Aworkingknowledgeofconcertsoundandlightingsystems
Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Proficient with computer networking

Must possess strong interpersonal skills, public relations, and employee motivational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to anticipate, identify and exceed guests’ expectations
