What is the role about?

This position is primarily responsible for the hands-on design, development, and support of Endress+Hauser Gas Measurement products throughout their lifecycle. Collaborate with a multi-national, cross-functional team to create and test innovative product offerings while optimizing the performance of existing production lines.

Which tasks will you perform?

  • Assemble electronic equipment per work instructions using basic hand tools
  • Install ball valves and measurement probes on industrial piping per mechanical drawings
  • Program electronic equipment to customer requirements and E+H specifications
  • Test equipment to verify calibration and confirm requirements are within tolerance levels
  • Inspect incoming parts for order accuracy and standards compliance
  • Partner with design engineer to understand assembly requirements
  • Participate in peer and stakeholder reviews
  • Use SAP to review and execute work orders; verify BOM (Bill of Materials); issue and receive materials; ensure proper traceability of equipment serial numbers; and confirm production and quality documentation to meet project requirements

What do we expect from you?

You will have (required):

  • Experience in a technical field (mechanical assembly) using basic hand tools (drills, saws, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical drawings

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Experience utilizing SAP and strong computer proficiency
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting information clearly, articulating complex technical issues and engaging with individuals at all levels
  • Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting a business-critical production environment
  • Capacity to adapt to working on a variety of production-related tasks and remain flexible to meet changing requirements of production department
  • Passion for continuous learning and development and a desire to explore new opportunities and expand professional horizons
  • Ability to work and make informed decisions independently and on own initiative
  • Demonstrates trust, respect, and support for others, fostering teamwork and a collaborative spirit. Collaborates effectively with others, sometimes across departments, to achieve organizational goals and enhance customer experience
