About the Role

Join BD and play a key role in supporting our manufacturing operations by ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production processes.

In this role, you will operate and maintain production equipment, perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, monitor product quality, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with the production team to achieve operational targets while maintaining compliance with safety, GMP, quality, and environmental standards.


What You'll Do

  • Operate manufacturing machines and process equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Responsible for managing spare parts and supporting procurement activities.

  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and meet production targets.

  • Perform preventive maintenance activities, including cleaning, servicing, and component replacement.

  • Monitor and record machine and process parameters, taking corrective actions when required.

  • Conduct sampling inspections and ensure products meet quality specifications.

  • Manage non-conforming products according to quality procedures.

  • Support production projects, process improvements, and change implementations.

  • Perform machine changeovers, material changes, tool/die replacements, and minor machine setup activities.

  • Update production information accurately in MES systems.

  • Support material handling activities, including loading, unloading, packing, and unpacking materials.

  • Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Participate in team meetings, Kaizen activities, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.


Job Requirements

  • NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

  • Experience in a manufacturing, production, or technical environment is preferred.

  • Basic troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude for production equipment.

  • Able to follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures.

  • Willingness to work shifts when required.

  • Positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.
