Crafted Highlights:    

In the role of Production Technician 1 working in Trenton, Ohio you will be part of the Integrated Supply Chain team. The person will be responsible for the packaging, brewing, and/or shipping of beer while continually investigating methods to improve the process, improve customer satisfaction, and produce quality products.  Successful candidates will be part of a team performing sanitation tasks, quality checks, and safely running equipment that brews and packages our products.

This position is part of a team-based union environment with a 180-day probationary period. You will be in a warehouse environment on a fixed shift. Compensation starts at $22.33/hr. that increases to $26.83 after successfully completing your probationary period.

This position reports to the Line Lead and works closely with fellow team members.  

What You’ll Be Brewing:

  • Effectively and efficiently operate production equipment throughout each work shift 90% of the time.
  • For skills and aptitude, we are looking for candidates with Forklift experience. If no forklift skills are in your background, a willingness to be trained and comfort developing the ability on that equipment would suffice.
  • Previous experience in a fast paced, high-volume facility is desirable.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance tasks i.e., Lube, Sanitation as well as the ability to learn and perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities on equipment.

  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are a skilled communicator who will talk to the team about all matters pertaining to the overall operation and function of the equipment you work on.
  • You have a High School diploma; post high school education or technical training is a plus.
  • You have experience in a team-based, manufacturing environment, have experience operating forklifts, and operator-based maintenance experience is also desirable.
  • You are 21 years of age or older.
  • You are comfortable with the physical requirements of this position (standing, lifting, walking)
