We are looking for a Production Technical Engineer to strengthen our production technology team in Pietarsaari.
In this role, you will work close to production, ensuring stable, safe and cost‑effective operations through strong technical expertise, process optimization and continuous improvement.
As a Production Technical Engineer, you support daily operations and long‑term development by:
Ensuring high technical availability and process stability
Providing technical support during normal operations and disturbances
Performing root cause analyses and systematic problem solving
Optimizing machine settings and operating parameters to improve OEE
Participating in or leading development and improvement initiatives
You will collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Technology functions.
You are a structured, solution‑oriented engineer who takes ownership and drives improvement.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Production, Process, Automation or Electrical Engineering)
Experience from industrial production, technical operations or process optimization
Good understanding of OEE, technical availability and automated systems
Business‑minded with the ability to see both technical and operational needs
Curious, analytical and creative in finding solutions to problems
Good communication skills in English, Swedish and Finnish
