Job Description

Job Location: TEP Rocky Mountain - Parachute, CO 81635
Salary Range: $45.00 - $56.00 Hourly

Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for conducting well operations safely, in accordance with TEP procedures and best practices and in full compliance with all applicable Flywheel Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies/guidelines and regulatory requirements by performing the following duties.
Team Leadership:
- Treats others honestly, fairly, and with respect.  Widely trusted as an honest, direct, and responsible individual that takes on accountability
- Overseeing and guiding a team of technicians, providing tech guidance and ensuring proper training and development.
- Ability to mentor and train techs 1, 2, and 3.
- Works diligently toward the achievement of team goals.
Technical Expertise:
- Possessing a deep understanding of oil field equipment, processes, and technologies, and applying this knowledge to troubleshoot issues and improve performance.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, perform repairs, and ensure equipment is in optimal working order
- Able to communicate effectively with all colleagues and give positive and negative feedback to enhance growth
Responsibility:
- Lead instructor for new employees
- Oversee contractors and vendors in the field
- Managing regulatory reporting at field level
- Coordinate and perform annual water and oil main line testing
- Lead and schedule field projects (instrument air project, heat trace and small repairs which do not require roustabouts)
- Ability to utilize Echometer for plunger fall rates and well diagnostics
- Ability to perform as an assistant specialist when needed
Safety and Environmental Compliance:
- Supports the company’s policies and procedures and conducts departmental and Company activities in accordance with these policies
- Demonstrates HSE best practices and strives to lead others to ensure a healthy and safe workplace for all
- Complete monthly audits for regulatory compliance
- Proactively addresses regulatory compliance issues during site inspections
- Participate in the Safety Program, including reporting observations, near misses and incidents
- Resolve regulatory corrective actions on-time with descriptive comments
- Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards
- Identify and mitigate safety and environmental hazards during operations
- Observes safety and security procedures, including maintaining confidentially, using equipment / materials properly, reporting potentially unsafe conditions, and acting upon appropriate actions

Qualifications
Education Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
Experience Required:
- proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, AI, Ignition, Outlook and database application software.
Other qualifications include:
- Valid Driver’s License

Expected Hourly
