Production Technician – Helena, AR
As a Production Technician II in Helena, Arkansas, you will play a vital role in safely and efficiently manufacturing high-quality products that support Arxada’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence. You will contribute directly to production success by operating and maintaining equipment, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare and complete production orders including loading tanks, packing, filling, and labeling in accordance with schedules and specifications
- Follow and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while ensuring consistent product quality and compliance
- Monitor equipment performance and production output, reporting inconsistencies or equipment issues promptly
- Complete and verify pre-operational checklists and perform routine inspections to support food safety and quality programs
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, GMPs, HACCP, SQF, and all safety and quality policies and procedures
- Safely handle hazardous chemicals and follow proper procedures in the event of a spill or safety concern
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring equipment is properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored
- Accurately document production activities and provide daily updates to the Production Supervisor
Qualifications & Experience:
- High School diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to read, understand, and follow SOPs, equipment manuals, and operational checklists
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment; chemical industry experience preferred
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to safety and quality standards
Compensation & Benefits (US Only):
The expected salary range for this role is $19–$22 per hour, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, certification, location, and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.
