Job Description

  • The Role:
  • We are seeking a hands-on Production Team Member to join our packing team within our manufacturing facility in Bomen. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and accurate manufacture and packing of Vetafarm's nutraceutical and pharmaceutical products.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Safely operate manual, semi-automatic, and automatic filling and packing machinery, including associated equipment.
    • Prepare, batch, and label packaging materials in line with SOPs and quality standards.
    • Accurately pack products to specification and complete production records to FeedSafe requirements.
    • Perform line clearances, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment in accordance with SOPs.
    • Operate Packing Machinery, forklifts, palletisers, and handling equipment safely and effectively.
    • Report machinery or product issues promptly to the Shift Supervisor.
    • Contribute positively to the team and assist in other areas as required.
  • About you:
    • Available to work Monday to Thursday from 6am - 4pm.
    • Strong communication skills and work ethic in a team environment.
    • Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kgs.
    • Good literacy skills, attention to detail, and understanding of weights and measures.
    • Proactive, with the ability to problem solve effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Holds a current drivers licence and has reliable transportation. A forklift licence would also be an advantage.
