At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Production Team Leader to join our team at Trucast UK, based on the Isle of Wight! This is a great opportunity for someone to join our growing business and to be trained up and developed in all areas as a Team Leader!
Working hours – 38.5
Shift – Monday to Thursday 5.45am to 2.15pm and Friday 5.45am to 12.15pm

The Role
Join Doncasters Trucast as a Production Team Leader where you will play a key role in driving a safe, efficient and high-performing production environment. You will lead by example, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, site policies and EH&S standards, while creating a culture where safety, quality and operational excellence are at the heart of everything we do.
You will develop and motivate a skilled workforce, supporting the wider strategic leadership plan and empowering your team to achieve operational objectives. Using departmental KPIs and performance data, you will identify opportunities for improvement, maximise shift productivity and take decisive, objective action where performance falls below expectations.
You will also be responsible for effective resource management, including controlling PPE expenditure and maintaining agreed budgets.
A strong focus on Continuous Improvement will be essential, with the opportunity to introduce innovative ideas, new techniques and lean ways of working that enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
You will lead Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions in response to quality concerns, ensuring issues are addressed effectively and lessons learned are embedded. Alongside this, you will champion high standards of housekeeping and visual management, creating a well-organised, professional and productive workplace where your team can perform at its best.
