Position Type: Full Time
Job Category: Manufacturing1st Shift Opening – 8am – 4pm!
Monday – Friday (overtime as needed/required)
Salary Range $15.75+ depending on experience
Our Production Support/Forklift Operator is responsible for supporting production operations through safe and efficient material handling, forklift operation, warehouse organization, and production support activities. This role ensures continuous production flow by delivering materials, removing finished goods, maintaining FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices, monitoring regrind operations, and supporting overall warehouse and production efficiency while adhering to all quality and safety standards.

Summary of Job Duties
- Support production operations by delivering materials and supplies to designated production areas.
- Remove completed pallets and finished goods from production lines to maintain continuous workflow.
- Maintain FIFO material flow and organized staging areas.
- Apply weight labels, address labels, and other required identification prior to staging or shipment.
- Move small parcel orders to the designated Drop Zone.
- Perform visual quality inspections on parts, packaging, labels, racks, and completed orders before staging or shipment.
- Operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Complete daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
- Monitor grinder operations and regrind levels during production, keeping grinder areas free from debris, excess pallets, and other safety hazards.
- Work collaboratively with production teams to support uptime, productivity, and departmental goals.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and surrounding production area, including aisles and warehouse areas.

Work Environment
This position is performed on the production floor in a manufacturing setting, which may include exposure to:
- Extreme heat.
- Moderate to loud noise levels (with proper PPE provided).
- Industrial equipment such as motors, grinders, compressors, CNC machines, and other production machinery.
- May have exposure to hazardous materials (with proper PPE provided).
Physical Demands
- Standing and walking for long periods of time.
- Frequent pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, overhead reaching, and repetitive motions.
- Occasional climbing, stooping, and crouching.
- Lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Required use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

QualificationsRequirements
- Forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
- Forklift Certification and ability to safely operate forklift and material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in non-climate controlled environment.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Understanding of Warehouse processes.
