Multinational leader in the plastic industry experiencing strong growth and expansion phase, is looking to reinforce its team:

Job title: Production Support Technician – Control & Planning

Purpose of the job:

Ensure daily production control and production planning activities are correctly executed in SAP and production systems, guaranteeing alignment between production schedules, material availability, stock levels, and actual shop floor execution.

The role contributes to OTIF (On Time In Full) performance by ensuring production plans are developed and continuously adjusted based on daily resource availability, material constraints, and capacity alignment, enabling reliable and executable production schedules and accurate system execution.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Production Control

  • Monitor production input in SAP and MES and correct any discrepancy to ensure the order balance.
  • Cross check physical inventories with SAP stock levels.
  • Support inventory counts, stock adjustments, and month-end closing activities.
  • Provide basic SAP/MES support to operators when needed.

Production Planning

  • Create and update daily production plans in SAP based on customer orders, forecasts, machine capacity, and material availability.
  • Plan production campaigns according to the defined product wheel to ensure feasibility, capacity balance and production efficiency.
  • Ensure planning discipline and execution alignment that supports OTIF (On Time In Full) performance by maintaining feasible, resource-based and continuously optimized production schedules.

Health, Safety and Compliance

  • Comply with occupational health and safety policies and procedures, using and maintaining in good condition the PPE defined for your function/tasks.
  • Report risks to health, safety, and the environment.
  • Correct risk situations and assist in their correction.
  • Actively participate in improving the Safety Culture, both by acting safely individually and by promoting safe behavior among colleagues.

Educational requirements/qualifications and experience:

  • Education at the 12th grade level.
  • Over 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (planning, logistics, or production support).
  • Basic to intermediate SAP knowledge (PP module preferred).
  • Familiarity with production environments and shop floor systems (MES/COAGO).
  • Basic analytical skills; Excel knowledge required.
  • Interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation.
  • Fluent in oral and written Portuguese and English.
