We are seeking an experienced Production Support Consultant to join our Sydney-based team, collaborating closely with an established support group across Sydney and Offshore

About the Role:

Location: On-site Sydney, NSW, Australia
Start Date: July 1, 2025
As a Production Support Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of mission-critical systems, including the Murex platform. You will be responsible for ensuring stability, implementing automation, and driving continuous improvement across our systems.

What You'll Do:

Support and maintain the Murex platform, ensuring its stability and performance.
Collaborate with a diverse team to enhance supportability and drive sustainable improvements.
Implement automation solutions and optimize trading systems.
Manage and operate CI/CD pipelines for cloud-hosted applications using industry-standard tools.
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

Experience: 6-8 years of support experience in banking/finance.
Murex Expertise: At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Murex (Wallstreet experience is a plus).

Technical Skills:

AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch)
CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Step Functions, Jenkins)
Observability frameworks (OpenTelemetry)
Proficiency in Python
Experience with DevSecOps practices and AWS CDK library
