Job Description

CONTRACT ROLE

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

  • 3-5 years technical and support experience
  • Office-based with willingness to work weekends and extended hours when required
  • Experience with SQL and various databases (e.g., MySQL), APIs, and file transfer protocols
  • Ability to understand JSON/XML
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement
  • Working understanding of Foreign Exchange and SWIFT would be beneficial

Specific Additional Experience:

  • Relevant degree
  • Working understanding of Foreign Exchange and SWIFT
  • Proven experience with hands-on API integrations and technical support in a banking environment
  • Knowledge of relevant internet and connectivity protocols
  • Expertise in reading log files, understanding traceroute and telnets
  • Experience with SQL and various databases (internal and external APIs, file transfers, SQL queries)
  • Creative and collaborative thinker with quick problem-solving abilities
  • Self-starter, dependable, detail-oriented, and time management sensitive
  • Stakeholder management experience at different organizational levels
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise for the bank's Host to Host channel's API offerings
  • Offer specialist business and systems support to Corporate and Investment (C&I) banking clients to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity
  • Act as a liaison between product and client engagement teams
  • Resolve production queries raised by client engagement teams and ensure constant liaison with relevant stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot existing integrations and provide technical support to C&I clients
  • Facilitate issue resolution with technology partners and advise on system enhancements for an enhanced client experience
  • Communicate product and data specifications to clients and partners as needed
  • Identify process and technology opportunities to improve API service offering and drive internal efficiencies related to the banks Host-to-Host platform
  • Conduct system, data integrity, and user acceptance testing with technology platforms
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients representatives and technical specialists
  • Troubleshoot network problems expertly
