Job Description

IN A NUTSHELL…

Since we launched with a range of six wallets 16+ years ago, we now release about 50 new products a year (give or take) and our Production team is key to getting all of these products (and those yet to come) out into the world! We’re on the search for someone to support them to get our products into the hands of our customers reliably, and with impeccable quality.

In this role you'll quality-check our product samples, provide feedback to our manufacturers, and manage our product archive based in the office. You'll also handle transactional processing and organise deliveries from our HQ to our warehouses and partners. You'll be supporting our production team with administrative duties and working closely with our photography and wholesale teams to make sure they have the product samples they need on time. There's a lot to keep track of, so you will need to be organised, logical and effective in your approach with the ability to make a plan and stick to it, ticking off your to-do list methodically.

You might not have direct experience in product quality, but if you've worked in customer service, retail, warehouse operations or any role that's taught you to juggle multiple tasks, notice details others miss, and manage logistics or team workflows, you’ll have transferable skills we value. What matters most is that you're keen to learn and develop your expertise in a production environment.

Bring us your effective organisational skills and hunger to learn, in return, we'll offer the tools for you to do your thing, a world-class crew to learn from, and the support you need to flourish.

YOU COULD BE THE ONE, IF YOU...

  • Want to develop your career in a quality control, production space (or might have some experience in this space already)
  • Have strong organisation skills, a sharp eye for detail and love a good spreadsheet
  • Are reliable and methodical with logistics, data entry and keeping records accurate
  • Enjoy working with your hands and getting a feel for the products you are assessing
  • Possess excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Can pick up potential issues or inconsistencies before they become a problem
  • Have an uncanny ability to understand the needs of those around you
  • Want to work collaboratively in a team within a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Comfortable working with computers, general office software, and printers - no advanced experience required.

IF YOU WERE HERE LAST WEEK, HERE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS YOU MIGHT HAVE DONE...

  • Quality checked product that arrived at HQ and prepared feedback for our suppliers for the pieces that didn’t meet our standards
  • Received incoming shipments into HQ, recorded them in our systems and sent packages out to our suppliers and partners
  • Created, proofed and distributed barcodes for new products and got them to our suppliers
  • Spoken with our photography and wholesale team to understand what samples you need to procure for them and when
  • Kept our product archive and sample stock organised, accurate, and easy to find
  • Instructed our warehouse teams how to inspect a new batch of products
  • Noticed an important delivery stuck in customs and found out what was needed to release it
  • Organised new products to be sent out from our HQ to the warehouse and followed up with our warehouse team to make sure they were processed in time for launch.

About Bellroy

Bellroy puts its heart, soul and countless design hours into helping the world carry with greater simplicity and ease. Every piece has been deeply considered to help you get the best of life’s little moments.

In the early 2000s, as slim tailoring became popular, bulky wallets couldn’t hide anymore. So, a team of product designers and creatives (who also happened to be friends) sat around a kitchen table in Bells Beach, Australia, to design a slim wallet with fewer layers of leather and better card positioning. The release of this product in 2010 signaled the birth of the Bellroy brand, and we’ve come a fair way since then...

We recognized pretty early on that we could use business as a force for good. So, as a certified B Corp, we constantly pursue better ways to source our leathers, reduce our impact on the environment and make sure our products last as long as possible.

Our range of carry goods has moved beyond pockets and includes solutions for your tech, work accessories and more – right down to the humble set of keys. Because as long as there are things to carry through our lives, we want to find better ways to store, protect and carry them.
