As the Production Supervisor - Portables, you'll be responsible for planning and reviewing all service and warehouse projects, distributing work, and maintaining quality control regarding client Portable Programs. This position also oversees and manages all production personnel within our Northbrook facility. Our Production Supervisor(s) will report in at the same time as our production staff - hours of the position are approximately 6:00AM to 3:00PM, with needed flexibility throughout the year. Production Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Review incoming service and warehouse Job Orders for quality and completeness of information provided by various teams
  • Create daily schedule preparation, review, and assign daily Job Orders
  • Handle the daily approval of timecards and material slips
  • Conduct and document quality-control spot checks on a minimum of 15% of outbound orders weekly, with increased focus on high-complexity orders, new personnel, and known inventory risk areas
  • Assure all inbound packages/shipments are dispositioned in a timely manner
  • Support the service and warehouse teams by providing needed information, materials, and equipment
  • Investigate and complete accident reports
  • Provide equipment maintenance, including daily, weekly, and monthly required safety checks
  • Participate and lead others to ensure shop cleanliness and organization
  • Maintain accurate warehouse/property location tracking, including up-to-date locator diagrams, inventory locations, and related team communication
  • Oversee routine inventory audits, cycle counts, and spot checks to ensure alignment between ExhibitForce (EF), CPQ, and physical inventory
  • Drive adherence to established warehouse processes, quality standards, and documentation procedures
  • Carry out initiatives as directed by the Portable Director
  • Building security (opening/closing)
  • Assist with capacity planning and workforce utilization to support operational efficiency and workload fluctuations

Requirements

Production Supervisor Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelors and/or Associate degree with 3+ years of trade show experience required
  • Prior experience managing or consistent supervisory of a team required
  • Must be organized and strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized, flexible and ability to work necessary hours in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

Salary and Benefits Information

  • Salary Range: $65,000.00 to $83,000.00 Annually.
