YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Feed Production Manager, your duties include:
Supervising the manufacture of quality feeds to meet customer order requirements;
Ensuring quality feed production through regular product inspections, implementing and maintaining approved quality control procedures so that feed will meet pre-determined quality specifications;
Receiving the manufacturing ingredients and shipping of bagged feed to meet plant and customer demands;
Contributing to the achievement of fire, security and safety programs by adhering to approved fire, security, and safety policies and procedures;
Procuring non-resale items not directly involved in the manufacturing of feed or maintenance of equipment;
Contributing to the harmonious relationships by administering a labour agreement in a fair and equitable manner;
Motivating and developing employees to become an effective and efficient workforce by individual and group consultation and training;
Ensuring clean mill and grounds by scheduling and supervising the cleaning of the mill and washing of the yard and mowing of the lawns to keep the grounds neat and tidy;
Contributing to improving operation efficiencies by suggesting changes and by encouraging suggestions by others. Implement approved changes.
