Your Job
You will supervise and coordinate the activities of production personnel to ensure a continuous workflow and the successful execution of production plans aligned with quality, quantity, and delivery specifications. In this role, you will drive operational efficiency, develop your team, and ensure reliable production performance.
What You Will Do
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure continuous workflow and execution of production plans
- Review production schedules and estimate labor (man-hours) required to meet production targets
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, driving accountability and continuous improvement
- Analyze and resolve operational issues, supporting employees in problem-solving efforts
- Conduct performance evaluations and recommend development plans tailored to individual growth
- Initiate and recommend personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, or disciplinary measures
- Ensure onboarding and training of new employees, enabling them to contribute effectively
- Track and evaluate efficiency metrics, production output, and cycle times
- Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials to support production requirements
- Collaborate with other supervisors to align cross-functional production activities
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production processes
- Coordinate overtime requirements based on operational needs
- Monitor and follow up on payroll pre-processing (pre-nomina) for assigned personnel
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for the area
- Monitor aging work orders and ensure timely closure
- Lead Tier meetings with the leadership team to review performance and priorities
- Participate actively in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain and update the skills matrix for the production team
- Implement and follow escalation processes to address operational issues
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience supervising production or manufacturing operations
- Strong ability to prioritize work and manage multiple activities simultaneously
- Experience working with KPIs, production metrics, and performance tracking
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead teams and develop employees
