
PURPOSE
The Ship Repair - Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring company employees understand work plans, goals, safety requirements, and quality standards, while providing the guidance and support needed to achieve operational objectives.
For contractor and subcontractor personnel, the Supervisor coordinates work activities and monitors progress through the contractor's designated representative to ensure compliance with project, safety, and quality requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
• Graduate of 3 years vocational course, Trade course is an advantage.
• At least 3 years experience in trade-specific shipbuilding.
• Hands-on technical know-how in trade-specific drawing interpretation.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong Planning & Organizing Skills
• Computer Literate (MS Office application)
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.
• Proven leadership and management abilities
Desirable
• Knowledgeable in Occupational Health & Safety including First Aid.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree
• Relevant Licenses or certifications
