Your role at Baxter:

Supervise activities at Baxter-Cartago plant, ensuring compliance with build requirements, specifications, and procedures.

You will have the task of Supervisor Indicators of your areas and participate in the identification of GMP, as well as in the establishment and implementation of containment, corrective and preventive actions when applicable.

What you'll be doing

1. Ensure high standards of process control (good process indicators, accurate oversight of

inventories of materials used in the production process, orientation to accident prevention,

DPM's, complaints and others)

2. Uphold a safe work environment, consistently adhering to the company's principles and encouraging a collaborative work atmosphere.

3. Support and compliance in the application of the guidelines related to good manufacturing practices "GMP'S", regulations established by FDA / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 and other regulations and policies of the company (SOX, 6'S etc).

4. Empower, develop, attract the best personnel in your area.

5. People with backgrounds other than that of engineer may work in the position, as long as the suitability of the person for the position they are going to perform is confirmed with facts. There may also be training plans for the leveling of the person's knowledge, a decision that will be made by the director of the area.

6. Own the personnel under their responsibility with good success.

7. Promote continuous improvement initiatives in the areas under its responsibility, incorporating the appropriate application of modern engineering tools and concepts (Lean six sigma, DMAIC methodology, Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, Poke Yoke, Kanban, JIT, Ishikawas, FMEA, and others) for the reduction of waste.

8. Ensure adequate compliance with the production plans in terms of mix and volume established by the planning area.

9. Ensure continuity in the flow of the finished product, seeking to resolve situations that interrupt it in time.

10. Ensure compliance with the regulatory training needs of the personnel under their charge. 11. Provide support in the strategy of work teams developed in the plant (Cells/Cells/SLTs), promoting teamwork and facilitating the processes of involvement of personnel.

12. Coordination with other functional areas to promote the execution of initiatives and projects in the areas under its responsibility.

What you'll bring to the table !!

Intermediate/advanced level of the English language.

Management of computer systems (Office).

Knowledge of Quality Systems (FDA, GMP's, ISO 9001 regulations, among others).

3-5 years of experience in supervision
