Production Supervisor - Food Manufacturing Burlington, NC AreaA growing food manufacturing company seeks Production Supervisors to lead operations across multiple production areas. We're expanding our state-of-the-art facility and need experienced leaders for both day and night shifts.Salary & Benefits:Base salary: $75,000-$90,000, commensurate with experienceNight shift premium: Additional 10% for night shift rolesRelocation assistance available up to $7,500Comprehensive benefits packageSchedule:2-2-3 rotation (12-hour shifts)Night shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AMWeekend coverage required24/7 operation with only 4 facility closure days per yearKey Responsibilities:Lead and develop a team of 20+ production associatesDrive safety, quality, and productivity metricsOversee high-speed automated production and packaging operationsMaintain food safety and quality standardsMonitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenanceManage shift startups, changeovers, and daily production schedulingExecute continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with all food safety regulations and GMP/FSMA practicesCoach and develop team membersCoordinate cross-training and skill development programsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of supervisory experience, ORAssociate's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience without degreeExperience in automated food manufacturing, consumer goods (FMCG/CPG), pharmaceutical, or similar regulated environmentStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly automated systemsProven track record of team leadership and developmentExperience with quality systems and food safety protocolsProficient in Microsoft Office suite; SAP experience preferredPreferred Qualifications:Food/beverage manufacturing supervisionExperience with automated production equipmentKnowledge of food safety and regulatory requirementsTrack record of improving operational metricsHistory of successful team developmentWe offer a dynamic working atmosphere in a growing operation with clear advancement opportunities.
