Agropur is currently seeking a night shift Production Supervisor to join its team in Amqui. The night shift Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and following up on production department operations.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the night shift Production Supervisor oversees plant operations, manages the team on their shift, and ensures solutions are found to various issues in order to meet Agropur’s objectives and standards. The role involves continuous supervision of manufacturing processes and procedures with the goal of improving them and reducing costs. In addition, the supervisor contributes to maintaining food quality requirements as well as occupational health and safety standards.

The work schedule is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday night to Friday morning).

  • Salary range 004: $73,000 to $91,200 (Base salary will be determined according to academic background, experience, training, and job‑related competencies.)

How you will contribute to collective success:

  • Being responsible for the plant’s operational performance, including developing and deploying KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Coordinating production processes, product packaging, and workforce assignments

  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards (ISO, HACCP, HALAL, GFSI), health & safety, and environmental requirements

  • Mobilizing, developing, training, and empowering employees

  • Leading performance meetings with work teams

  • Initiating problem‑solving activities with the teams

  • Collaborating effectively with all site partners as part of a business‑focused approach

  • Participating in plant committees and implementing operational excellence programs

  • Ensuring proper application of the collective agreement

The type of team player who fits with the team:

  • High school diploma (DES)

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a production supervisor in a unionized manufacturing environment

  • Strong computer skills (SAP, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
