Job Description

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a similar related field mandatory
  • Proven experience in a production supervisory role.
  • Level 2 NACE certification is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in sandblasting operations and scaffolding.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and solve problems efficiently. 

Responsibilities:

  • Production Oversight
  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure timely and efficient execution.
  • Monitor production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Enforce quality control measures to ensure adherence to industry standards and specifications.
  • Conduct inspections to verify that products meet the required quality standards.
  • Safety Compliance
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for production staff.
  • Personnel Management
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor production team members to achieve optimal performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Technical Expertise
  • Possess Level 2 NACE certification for coatings inspection.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in sandblasting techniques and equipment operation.
  • Prior experience with scaffolding procedures and safety protocols.
  • Liaise with other departments to coordinate production schedules and resolve any issues.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and management.
