What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and supervise daily production activities to ensure performance in safety, quality, and productivity
  • Manage and coordinate workflow sequencing to meet customer demand and production schedules
  • Oversee and support a team of ~22 operators across multiple functions (assembly, bending, crating, punching, suspension, perforation)
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety practices, and company policies
  • Drive employee development, including onboarding, mentoring, and cross-training for key positions
  • Monitor staffing needs and align workforce planning with production requirements
  • Maintain strong communication across teams and departments to ensure operational continuity
  • Support and guide team leaders in daily execution and decision-making
  • Participate in hiring activities, including interviewing and selecting candidates

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Ability to manage shift-based operations (afternoon shift with potential rotation to day shift)
  • Experience with workforce planning and production scheduling
  • Knowledge of safety and quality standards within a manufacturing setting

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong background in root cause analysis and improving SQDC performance
  • Experience leading or participating in Lean events and process improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with 5S and workplace organization practices
  • Demonstrated ability to build teams, develop talent, and implement structured training programs
  • Experience contributing to plant-wide initiatives and strategic objectives

  • Expérience en planification des effectifs et ordonnancement de la production
  • Connaissance des normes de sécurité et de qualité en milieu industriel

Ce qui vous démarquera

  • Connaissance des principes Lean et de l’amélioration continue
  • Expérience en analyse des causes racines (RCA) et amélioration des performances SQDC
  • Participation à des événements Lean / Kaizen
  • Maîtrise des pratiques 5S et organisation du poste de travail
  • Capacité démontrée à développer les équipes et structurer la formation
  • Expérience dans la contribution à des initiatives stratégiques au niveau de l’usine
