Job Purpose

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Supervisor to join our fast-paced production team in our DBP Sauage site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing or team-leading experience who is ready to develop their leadership skills in a supportive environment.

safety, and customer specifications.

  • Lead, motivate, coach, and develop production operatives, completing inductions,

competency assessments, performance reviews, and identifying training needs to

build a high-performing team.

  • Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good

Manufacturing Practice (GMP), food safety, health and safety, hygiene, allergen

management, contamination controls, and site security requirements.

  • Oversee the operation, set-up, calibration, and verification of production equipment

and critical control systems, including Vemag, Autoloader, Olympus, X-ray, Metal

Detection, Flow Wrap, Vacpac, and checkweighers.• Monitor product quality and traceability through label verification, weight and

temperature checks, gas checks, production records, and Critical Control Points

(CCPs), taking immediate corrective action where required and escalating food safety

or quality issues appropriately.

  • Manage non-conforming products, rework, product holds/quarantine, species

segregation, stock control, Work in Progress (WIP), date coding, and packaging

materials to maintain brand integrity and minimise waste.

  • Ensure production documentation and KPI reporting are completed accurately and in

real time, monitoring line performance and driving continuous improvement to achieve

operational targets.

  • Maintain high housekeeping standards, ensuring production lines are clean,

organised, and ready for operation, including overseeing washdowns and ensuring

only approved packaging and labelling materials are present on the line.

  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager, Quality team, and other

departments to deliver business objectives, support improvement initiatives, and

undertake other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.
