We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Salt Lake City, United States. The ideal candidate will oversee daily production operations, ensure quality standards are met, and lead a team of production workers to achieve optimal performance and efficiency.

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities to meet quality and quantity targets
• Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and equipment
• Monitor production processes and adjust workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
• Train, mentor, and evaluate production team members to improve performance and productivity
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and implement process improvements
• Analyze production data and prepare reports for upper management
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain to ensure timely availability of materials
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance activities as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of documented experience in manufacturing or production supervision, with direct experience in optical and anti-reflective coating processes required
• Comprehensive knowledge of quality control processes and safety regulations in manufacturing environments
• Demonstrated proficiency in team leadership and management within production settings
• Analytical problem-solving and decision-making capabilities with measurable results
• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written, suitable for cross-departmental collaboration
• Established expertise in production planning and scheduling methodologies
• Operational knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control systems
• Technical understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies specific to optical manufacturing
• Proven ability to drive production efficiency improvements and operational optimization
• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement qualification
• Proficiency in time management and organizational systems for supervisory-level responsibilities
