Key Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations:
Perform activities in accordance with the standard work defined for the position
Follow up on the production plan established by the Planning department
Participate in TIER 1, TIER 2, and TIER 3 meetings
Apply 5S practices in the work area and follow up on findings derived from audits
Execute and ensure that work instructions (sequence, content, timing, quality, and safety) are properly followed
Approve, in coordination with support areas (Engineering, Materials, HSE, Quality, Training), changes to work instructions within their respective areas
Ensure on-time completion of models that impact OTTR (on-time delivery to the customer)
Ensure all operators comply with internal disciplinary rules
Responsible for the management of assigned personnel (discipline, payroll pre-processing, attendance, training, performance evaluations, etc.)
Follow up on the completion of assigned metrics and production reports
Track production rejections and implement corrective actions in collaboration with support departments
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
Intermediate to Advanced English
Knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing tools
Experience in SMT processes (mandatory)
Strong communication skills at all organizational levels
Knowledge of problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Whys, DMAIC, etc.)
Experience with Oracle and Revolution systems (preferred)
