The ideal candidatehas5+ years of supervisoryormanagementexperience in manufacturing, strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, and the ability to providehands-on leadership in a fast-pacedproductionenvironment
Key Responsibilities
Lead and superviseproductionemployeeswhileensuringadherence to dailyproductionschedules
Monitor employeecompetencies, providecoaching and development, and conductperformancereviews
Drive continuousimprovementthroughout the manufacturingprocess
Ensureproductsareproduced on time and meetestablishedquality and workmanshipstandards
Monitor first-pass quality and ensureprescribedproceduresareconsistentlyfollowed
Coordinate, implement, and maintainstandardoperatingprocedures for productionoperations
Determineappropriatemanpower and material resourcesneeded to meetproductionrequirements
Optimizeresourceutilization and overallproductionefficiency
Maintain compliance withcompanypolicies, safetyprocedures, housekeepingstandards, and applicablemanufacturingrequirements
Communicateexpectationsclearlyacross all levels of the productionorganization
Support cost, quality, productivity, and operational performancegoals
Qualifications
High schooldiplomaorequivalentrequired
5+ years of experience in manufacturingsupervisionormanagement
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and standards
Previousexperience in a metalstampingorsimilarmanufacturingenvironmentstronglypreferred
Strong leadership, organizational, planning, analytical, and problem-solvingskills
Ability to effectivelylead, coach, and manage employeeswith different personalities and experiencelevels
Ability to read and interpretsafetyrules, operatinginstructions, maintenanceinstructions, and proceduremanuals
Strong verbal and writtencommunicationskills
Proficiencywith Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
