Job Description

The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising production operations at the cocoa juice processing factory. They ensure efficient, safe production that complies with Cocoa Juice quality standards, while optimizing human and material resources.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Team Management

• Supervise production operators and technicians
• Organize work schedules and allocate tasks efficiently
• Lead, support and develop team skills
• Ensure compliance with discipline, hygiene and safety rules

Production Operations Management

• Plan and coordinate daily production activities
• Supervise pasteurization, packaging and storage operations
• Quickly identify operational issues and implement corrective actions
• Optimize yields and minimize production losses

Quality, Hygiene, Safety and Environment (QHSE)

• Implement and enforce quality procedures
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety rules
• Promote a risk prevention culture
• Identify non-conformities and ensure follow-up

Equipment Maintenance and Availability

1. Report technical anomalies
2. Coordinate interventions with the maintenance team
3. Participate in preventive maintenance planning
4. Help reduce equipment downtime
5. Ensure proper use of equipment

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve processes
• Reduce material losses and downtime
• Participate in production optimization projects
• Encourage improvement initiatives within the teams

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's in industrial engineering, Food Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Production or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience supervising industrial production.
• Proven experience in team management.
• Experience in the agri-food industry is an asset.
