Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor in Middlesex, NC.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year.

In the Production Supervisor role, you will manage and direct the hourly bulk hose operations to produce and ship product, at minimum cost, in accordance with engineering design specifications, quality standards, customer service goals, and profitability. You will effectively communicate and work with all levels of plant personnel to complete your job function and meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
Essential Functions:
• You will contribute to a safe, engaged and inclusive work culture by ensuring you and your team comply with all policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment, and performing 5S duties.
• You will ensure that production demands are met by your department
• You will participate in the assessment, selection, training, coaching, and development of employees and foster strong employee performance.
• You will foster positive employee relations with direct reports and key stakeholders & a high-performing work team culture throughout the facility.
• You will work directly with production team members to provide direction on daily tasks and resolution of issues.
• You will evaluate workload requirements and effectively delegate tasks accordingly to ensure proper and adequate manning to support production requirements.
• You will manage employees, time records, monitor productivity and work performance within the team.
• You will coordinate production activities with supply chain, maintenance, and quality to obtain optimum production and utilization of human recourses, machines and equipment
• You will work with engineering on modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products
• You will investigate and solve quality issues and/or serve as a point of contact through which quality issues can be resolved. Ensures that employees know the importance of quality and enforces follow through. Works with quality control team to resolve issues and regularly reviews quality trends in the market.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution OR High school diploma from an accredited institution
• Minimum 4 years of experience supporting Manufacturing, Operations or Technical processes
• Minimum 3 years of Indirect or direct leadership experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
• This position requires access to export-controlled information. Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Management from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of Indirect or direct leadership experience
• Lean manufacturing / Operational Excellence skills in 5S+, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, etc.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach at or above shoulder level, grip, and use hands to handle and feel. The employee is frequently required to stoop, lift, carry, push, pull, and grip. The employee is frequently required to lift/carry up to 35 pounds and to push/pull up to or greater than 35 pounds with or without accommodation. The vision requirements include far and close vision with depth perception and color discrimination. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate.
