Help grow a safer, cleaner, healthier future for everyone, every day.

Why join AVIRE?

Do you have an entrepreneurial mindset? Do you like being part of high growth, high impact environments? Are you looking for an opportunity to lead a hands-on production team while developing people, improving daily performance, and delivering an unrivalled customer experience? If you have answered yes to these questions, we should connect!

The AVIRE team is seeking a driven, technically capable Production Supervisor to lead daily production execution in our Sussex, Wisconsin plant. This role reports to the Operations Manager for the Wisconsin Plant and translates daily production priorities into clear cell-level execution, monitoring operational metrics, and ensuring customer orders are produced safely, accurately, and on time in full at required quality. You will work closely with the Assemblers, and coordinate with Logistics, Purchasing, Quality, Technical Support, Customer Service, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement to resolve observed material shortages, production issues, quality concerns, introduce new or sustain existing product portfolio, and process constraints before they impact customer commitments.

What you will do:

  • Lead daily production execution across all assembly cells, ensuring work is prioritized, staffed, staged, and completed to meet safety, quality, output, productivity, and OTIF expectations.
  • Translate the production plan into clear daily priorities for Assemblers, including work order sequencing, resource allocation, changeovers, and issue follow-up.
  • Monitor and respond to operational metrics including OTIF, schedule attainment, labor efficiency, first-pass quality, rework, scrap, productivity, shortages, and aging work orders.
  • Identify, document, and escalate material shortages, production constraints, non-conformances, test failures, equipment issues, and process gaps to the other departments as appropriate for support and resolution.
  • Lead Production Assemblers to maintain standard work, quality checks, testing discipline, 6S standards, and consistent use of ERP transactions including job creation, parts issuing, labor reporting, and work order status updates.
  • Develop, coach, and support Production Assemblers through clear expectations, daily feedback, cross-training, onboarding, performance follow-up, and individual development planning.
  • Support a practical continuous improvement mindset by escalating issues, help validate root causes, support countermeasures, and ensure improvements are sustained through standard work and team training.
  • Communicate production status clearly during daily tier meetings, operational reviews, and cross-functional follow-ups.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements, company policies, work instructions, and local standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and respectful production environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

We want someone who displays:

Action-Oriented Curiosity You readily take on challenges, and you identify and seize new opportunities. You have an outstanding history of delivering on your projects. You work on the problems that truly need solving, and you effectively challenge the organization to be better. You can cut through the clutter and focus on the priorities that align with organizational objectives.

Collaboration You embrace the unique experiences, viewpoints, and abilities of your teammates and proactively engage those differences to come to the best possible outcome.

Empowerment You thrive in an environment where you can make decisions. You do not shy away from taking a stand, and you recognize the importance of challenging the team to ensure that we strive for more. You take responsibility to solve customer problems the first time.

Accountability: You take responsibility for your actions, and you deliver on your commitments.

Inclusion: In all aspects of your work, you treat everyone with respect.
