Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor.
Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.
Primary function
Lead, facilitate and coordinate production activities and resources according to established practices and or policies within their job area to ensure deliveries on time, parts and components that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Essential functions
A. Prepare and send production daily report.
B. Coordinate, leverage, and utilize appropriately resources to resolve safety, quality and manufacturing situations in order to improve processes and meet external and internal customer demands.
C. Provide and implement training that will enable personnel to better perform.
D. Coordinate and manage employees: HR incidents (attendance, punctuality, overtime, vacations, and permissions).
E. Act as a business partner by planning, initiating, leading, measuring, monitoring and assessing continuous improvement programs and manufacturing process improvements by applying appropriate tools, like problem solving tools such as ELSS (Eaton Lean Six Sigma) and 5s.
F. Maintain Kanban inventory, process inventories (WIP) within min-max according to demand. Ensuring the administration of production resources.
G. Participate in setting, communicating and achieving department goals and objectives and develop and maintain performance metrics as required to monitor results and use those results as a tool to identify and initiate process improvements within own work area. Coordinate and/or participate in continuous improvement teams in own or other areas to enhance plant results (ECIS).
H. Coordinate with Human Resources in the selection, promotion, counseling, lay off and termination of employees using Eaton guidelines and policies.
I. Monitor machinery, equipment and facility and initiate maintenance work orders as required, to ensure efficient, effective and safe and ergonomic conditions in the area.
J. Implement, promote and maintain a safe and ergonomic work environment by implementing a culture of zero accidents. Investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and manage risk and unsafe conditions into the area.
K. Promotes the company’s vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics code and values as well as quality policies.
L. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.
M. Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities (Kaizen, Blitz, A3, RIEs).
N. Promote a work safe environment using 5S, NEAR MISS, Tools and GEMBA WALKS.
Specialized knowledge
A. Industrial Engineering degree or related fields required.
B. 2 years experience minimum in a related manufacturing environment.
C. English – language at conversational level desired.
D. Manager of people experience.
E. Broad technical knowledge in the areas of safety, manufacturing processes, quality assurance, plant engineering, production/materials planning, maintenance needs and systems application.
F. Basic knowledge of national and local safety and environmental standards, guidelines and Z such as ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, MESH, EBE, OPA, CIF, ISO/IATF16949, EQS and/or applicable regional initiatives.
G. Knowledge of behavioral science, including the ability to motivate, counsel, and constructively deal with people at all levels.
H. Strong leadership skills, must be capable of leading their organization on a continuous journey of sustained improvement.
A. It requires the use management skills, act as a liaison for associates at all levels.
B. Develop and implement positive employee relations (Eaton Philosophy) to encourage employee involvement and to create an environment in which employees see no need for third party intervention.
