Where is the work:

On-Site (5 days)

Supervises a team of production staff to meet EHS, Quality, On Time Delivery, Line Efficiency, Labor Productivity, 5S, Lean Transformation and Operator Discipline

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee flow line of production schedule and targets to meet requirements of existing and projected sales orders
  • Take ownership of operator safety management. Supervise employee to safety operation strictly according to IR EHS rules. Continuously to identify and eliminate unsafe behavior and status on site
  • Responsible for in process quality control of production line, focus on improvement of RTY and FQC, check up timely and change in time
  • Closely involve in cross function team of same value stream organization to solve daily issues, like quality, output, material, etc.
  • Drive strictly on the line matrix including line efficiency and labor productivity. Control and optimize HC and OT.
  • Push 5S implementation/Visual management/TPM/DMI management on site
  • Implement rapid improvement experiments to drive operational excellence continuously
  • Lead Kaizen on responsible area to generate operation overhead expense saving
  • Motivate, engage and drive employees to raise suggestions to improve the work efficiency
  • Make workforce planning together with HR department according to volume fluctuation.
  • Responsible for coaching and improving line leader and operators’ performance to meet company standards, including but not limited to communication, skill, attendance, safety, discipline, and job performance
  • Administer skill management programs and processes to erase the skill bottleneck.

Listens actively to perspectives, needs and concerns of customers, management, plant personnel, as well as suppliers. Demonstrates integrity and high ethical standards. Demonstrates effective consulting, negotiating, and persuasive skills to diverse audiences. Presents information in a clear and accurate manner.

Technical / Functional

Technical expertise in engineering / manufacturing processes and statistical process control is a critical element of this role. Experience of supply management/ logistics and/or a quality role preferable

Digital system/ Automation/ Lean

Digital system/ Automation/ Lean knowledge is preferred

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanic, Refrigeration, Automation Engineering, other applicable field required
  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience, DC product manufacturing management is preferred.
  • Strong planning, problem analysis and resolution skills
  • Must be team-oriented with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Must be willing and able to work all shifts
  • Must be bilingual in English and Mandarin
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools a plus
