MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and coordinate daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while meeting production throughput, quality, and laborutilizationtargets.
Supervise, coach, and develop frontline employees through performance management, training, communication, and employee engagement initiatives.
Monitor production, quality, and safety performance metrics;identifyopportunities for continuous improvement and support implementation of Lean manufacturing and operational improvement initiatives.
Partner with Safety, Quality, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams tomaintaincompliance with food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety standards, including participation in audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
Lead shift communications, team huddles, and operational coordination activities while supporting emergency response efforts andmaintainingaccurateoperational documentation and reporting.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School diploma or GEDrequired
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs require
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Associate degree in manufacturing, industrial technology, engineering, or related technical field preferred
Previousexperience in food manufacturing or high-speed production environments preferred
Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, orbehavior-based safety programs preferred
Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment
