Job Description

MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and coordinate daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while meeting production throughput, quality, and laborutilizationtargets.

  • Supervise, coach, and develop frontline employees through performance management, training, communication, and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Monitor production, quality, and safety performance metrics;identifyopportunities for continuous improvement and support implementation of Lean manufacturing and operational improvement initiatives.

  • Partner with Safety, Quality, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams tomaintaincompliance with food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety standards, including participation in audits, investigations, and corrective actions.

  • Lead shift communications, team huddles, and operational coordination activities while supporting emergency response efforts andmaintainingaccurateoperational documentation and reporting.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education:
High School diploma or GEDrequired

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs require

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Associate degree in manufacturing, industrial technology, engineering, or related technical field preferred

  • Previousexperience in food manufacturing or high-speed production environments preferred

  • Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, orbehavior-based safety programs preferred

  • Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to respond effectively to operational and emergency situations within the facility
