Job Description

Our client, an established and profitable E&P operator with producing oil & gas assets in key U.S. basins, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily field operations and ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production across assigned assets. This role is critical in leading field personnel, optimizing production performance, maintaining equipment reliability, and ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily oilfield production operations to maximize output, equipment uptime, and operational efficiency across assigned assets
• Lead and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with HSE policies, Safe Work Permits, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and LOTO procedures
• Oversee troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of artificial lift systems, including rod pump and jet pump operations
• Train, mentor, and develop field staff while promoting operational excellence and continuous improvement
• Coordinate with Production Management, Engineering, and field teams to resolve production issues and improve asset performance
• Implement remedial actions for production declines, equipment failures, and operational inefficiencies
• Manage chemical programs, monitor OPEX and Capital expenditures, and assist with annual budget preparation
• Review invoices, approve timesheets, process expense reports, and maintain accurate operational documentation
• Prepare and submit production, operational, and regulatory reports as required
• Evaluate and implement new technologies, field practices, and cost-saving initiatives to improve production performance
• Provide operational leadership support and assist the Production Manager with special projects or coverage needs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training preferred
• 10+ years of oil & gas field operations experience preferred, with previous supervisory experience required
• Strong hands-on experience with artificial lift systems, including rod pump and jet pump applications
• Eagle Ford or similar onshore shale basin experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of oilfield safety standards, environmental regulations, and production compliance
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and budgeting skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and lease/production operational software
• Valid driver’s license required
