Production Supervisor (3rd Shift)
Location: Strasburg, OH
Shift: 3rd Shift | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to lead our 3rd Shift manufacturing team at our Strasburg, Ohio facility. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations while fostering a positive team environment and supporting employee development.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, can effectively manage production priorities, and is committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Lead and promote a culture of safety throughout the facility.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, and customer requirements.
- Drive productivity, efficiency, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Coordinate staffing and workforce assignments to support production goals.
- Monitor and report production metrics, scrap/yield results, attendance, and timekeeping information.
- Communicate effectively with employees, leadership, and cross-functional departments.
- Build teamwork and collaboration across departments and facilities.
- Coach, mentor, train, and develop team members for future growth opportunities.
- Address production challenges and make timely decisions to support shift operations.
- Provide hands-on support as needed to ensure safe and efficient production.

Work Environment
- Manufacturing facility environment with exposure to production equipment and machinery.
- Required use of safety glasses and other personal protective equipment (PPE) as applicable.
- Frequent walking, standing, and communication with production personnel.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- May occasionally travel to other facilities or customer locations.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Supervision, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience leading teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Project management experience.
