Job Description

Lead Production Excellence in a Fast-Paced Manufacturing Environment

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily operations on the production floor and help drive efficiency, quality, and team performance. In this role, you will oversee production activities, support and develop team members, and ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of production employees in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Foster a positive, safety-focused, and collaborative culture that encourages accountability and high performance.
  • Identify training and development opportunities to strengthen team capabilities and productivity.
  • Promote employee engagement, teamwork, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Production Operations & Planning

  • Review production schedules, product specifications, and delivery timelines to effectively plan daily operations.
  • Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production goals, quality standards, and delivery commitments are consistently achieved.
  • Establish production priorities and optimize workflow for maximum efficiency.
  • Monitor operational performance and proactively resolve production, maintenance, and process-related issues to minimize downtime and delays.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all products, parts, and systems meet established quality standards and specifications.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes and operational best practices.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and manufacturing standards.

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Develop, update, and enforce standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Analyze production data and prepare reports on manufacturing performance and output.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving methodologies.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts, practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience supervising large production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
