Job Description

• Oversee a team of up to 200 associates with 2 other Production Supervisors under the direction of the Director of Operations with five high speed production lines and various supporting departments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Maintenance, Planning etc.) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Tracks and reports on key performance indicators such as line efficiency, plant attainment, OEE, yield, GMP percentages and downtime.
• Maintains a safe and efficient operation to produce products at or above the established quality and efficiency standards.
• Monitor and review productions records to ensure proper tracking of raw and finished materials.
• Enforces company rules, policies and procedures.
• Follows all USDA and FDA regulations.
• Works with the Director of Operations to resolve any issues/concerns of the day to ensure a smooth operation.
• Assists with training personnel on plant safety, GMP’s, SOP’s etc.
• Holds daily briefings for their immediate team regarding the prior day’s performance, ongoing opportunities, upcoming visits, quality concerns etc.
• Holds team accountable against agreed performance targets.

• Minimum 5 years of supervisor experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in production tracking systems (e.g. Safety Chain and D365 Business Central)
• USDA and FDA experience is a must.
• Food manufacturing experience is a must.
• Must understand workflow and be able to handle multi-line operations.

• Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, and weekends.
