About the Role:

Join our growing team! As the Production Supervisor, you are responsible for leading, guiding and directing employees in a safe and efficient direction. You will assist the Plant Manager with all building and production duties and ensure that areas in Production and the Plant are running smoothly and have quantity and quality goals.

What you’ll do (key responsibilities include, but not limited to):

  • Responsible for supervising the remanufacturing process of washers & dryers
  • Works with Production Manager to establish certified rebuilt standards for all equipment
  • Assists Production Manager to establish & maintain equipment production goals
  • Maintains quality control program to insure proper operation of all remanufactured equipment
  • Monitors employee schedules, job assignments & workstation scheduling to meet the demand of all new & rebuilt equipment orders
  • Assists all work stations with assembly line exceptions and/or problematic machines
  • Promotes good teamwork with a friendly, helpful attitude towards all production employees
  • Employee communications: explains job expectations, provides coaching, training and counseling to all production employees
  • Holds biweekly team meetings to discuss company policies, procedures, and any operational challenges for workable solutions
  • Maintains professional relationship with all internal and external customers. Promotes the company’s core values
  • Promotes a continuous improvement culture. Reviews production procedures, recommends measures to improve working conditions, work station processes, and the use of all tools and/or equipment
  • Reviews and appraises employee performance
  • Reviews all company safety policies with employees. Enforces safety guidelines, regulations, and company standards
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources

What we’re looking for:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees or with customers of organization
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
  • Ability to solve practical problems and assess a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
