We are currently looking for Production Supervisor for our Rugvica Plant. Production Supervisor is responsible for running a production line, while managing day-to-day activities and executing production plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing daily activities of the production line (project)
  • Implementing the established production plan
  • Preparing daily activity plans
  • Participating in project/production planning activities
  • Delegating tasks to supervisors and teams of electricians, fitters, refrigeration technicians, and other installers based on skills and availability in line with the production plan
  • Ensuring that teams have the necessary skills, tools, documentation, and materials required to perform their work
  • Responsible for safety within the production line (project) and for implementing the 5S system
  • Responsible for the quality of work on the production line
  • Leading daily line coordination meetings – Level 1
  • Coordinating production activities with other departments (Project Management, Quality Control, Testing, Warehouse, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering)
  • Escalating to the Production Manager and Project Manager when support from other departments/functions is required
  • Communicating relevant company announcements to the team
  • Collaborating with other supervisors and production managers
  • Participating in project, team, or departmental meetings
  • Providing leadership, mentoring, and training to the supervisor
  • Participating in initiatives, projects, and improvements on the production line and within the factory within the scope of responsibility
  • Participating in Kaizen / continuous improvement activities
  • Performing all other tasks and duties as instructed by the direct supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree education – Civil Engineering background
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Site Manager/Production Supervisor
  • Production management
  • Technical knowledge – drawings, materials, machining, assembly methods
  • Basic English skills
  • Basic computer skills - MS Office (outlook, excel),etc
  • Production planning
  • Leadership/management skills
  • Communication skills
  • Problem solving
  • Attention to detail
  • Creativity
