We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our mining activities, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily mining activities to ensure production targets are met.
- Develop and implement production schedules and strategies to optimize productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Train, mentor, and provide leadership to production team members.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare reports on production activities, including production volumes, downtime, and equipment utilization.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in mining operations, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of mining processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mining software.
