Job Description

Minimum requirements:

  • N3 a minimum / N4 or higher preferred
  • 3 - 5 years experience in a plastics manufacturing environment
  • 3 years supervisory experience in a production, fast moving environment
  • Highly self - motivated, energetic and ability to motivate others
  • Ability to make tough decisions and manage complexity
  • Good organisational skills
  • Comfortable working late at times
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and high attention to detail 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing of Production Staff to ensure a motivated and high performing team.
  • Dealing with production data, admin and ensuring accuracy.
  • Persistent and deadline driven.
  • Establish the budget for mould expenses and equipment including the control of consumable costs.
  • Controlling spares usage and costs.
  • Partnering with Quality to ensure the correct standards in accordance with ISO quality system are maintained.
  • Ensuring they run a standard Factory.
  • Overseeing and assisting with training of all Production staff.
  • Working with Quality to ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures.
  • Ensuring Proper housekeeping by maintaining a minimum score of 95% on the housekeeping checklist and 100% adherence to the dress code.
