About the role

An opportunity to grow through a supervisory role, overseeing the testing and processing teams within the Perth Processing Centre. You'll ensure the required production outcomes are being met by effectively delivering the production schedule and managing resources and workflow within the production environment. Ultimately, this will lead to the efficient and timely supply of blood and blood products within a culture of service excellence.

As a Production Supervisor you will continually look for ways to optimise work processes through active learning and adapting your approach to achieve great outcomes while working collaboratively with other team members.

A day in the role will see you:

  • Developing & managing rosters and shifts and direct team members to react to manufacturing requirements
  • Co-ordinate with upstream and downstream departments
  • Identify new talent for the Production team & support in training/coaching and staff development
  • Utilise reports and forecasts to manage manufacturing targets and plans
  • Champion and lead continuous improvement items
  • Directly engage in blood processing activities
  • Support the Production Manager & collaborate with other Supervisors in monitoring and driving operational performance and priorities
  • Maintain and manage the required quality standards to regulatory compliance to meet the Code of GMP and NATA.

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for;

  • Production/processing experience in a technical or pharmaceutical manufacturing regulated GMP/GLP environment
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise a Production team, with previous supervision experience desirable
  • A current understanding of using standard operating procedures to perform a range of technical processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively for planning & effective management of a team and deliver on KPI’s
  • Ability to collaborate fluidly with peers and cross-functional groups
  • Excellent written, oral communication, and organizational skills required

You will be based in the Processing department at Perth Processing Centre Monday – Saturday across a range of hours reporting to the Production Manager.
